Why volunteer

There are lots of volunteering roles at Kearsney Parks and exciting opportunities to help out the local community and keep your parks clean and looking maintained.

Volunteers get involved for a variety of reasons. Some want to make a difference to our local parks and others want to develop new skills and some simply want to meet new people and have fun.

• ​Ensure you have a clear idea of your responsibilities and time required
• ​Provide information, support and training
• ​Regular updates on how your work is making a difference

• Enthusiastic about Kearsney Parks
• ​To be reliable in attendance and dependable
• ​To be a friendly and welcoming face to the visitors of our parks
• ​Provide us with as much notice as possible if you are unable to fulfil your volunteer commitment
